Now who is “we” you may ask? Well that’ll be my dad (Jose) and I (Kevin). It started when Jose was looking for a reliable job that had constant work everyday. Well luckily his friend worked for this CCTV Company that was exploding in sales, so they were looking to hire a couple new employees to keep up with projects. Jose was about 19 yrs old, with no experience when he began his journey with this company. But although he was new to this whole thing, he was determined to learn “everything”. It did not take long for the owner (Bob) of the company (Pro Logics)to notice Jose, he admired how quick Jose worked. If they asked him to run a cable across the building, Jose would be back in 3 minutes asking “whats next”? A couple months later Jose was one of the top technicians running the projects. As time went on the company Pro Logics grew at such a quick rate, they were not only doing jobs in California but they began to get attention from out of state. But that wasn’t the only thing growing, Bob started to grow a stronger friendship with Jose as he kept exceeding his expectations. This company took the industry by storm for the next 17-18 years.

Unfortunately, all things do come to an end as well as this Company that was trusted by thousands. Bob decided it was time for retirement, Jose and a couple other co-workers decided to buy the business from Bob and change up a couple things. Which lasted about a year or two, due to many clients expecting warranty, that was done with the last company. During this time, Jose worked for a total of 3 different CCTV companies , he noticed they all wanted him to give 100% in every project but only paid 40%. Not fair right? But unfortunately this went on for about 2-3 years. Jose became so tired of them taking advantage of his experience, and him having to deal with the angry clients complaining about unexpected “high prices”, when all he did was the labor side of things.

Eventually I (Kevin) finished highschool, and my dad (Jose) asked if I wanted to run a CCTV business with him. At first it took a bit of convincing but once I got the hang of it, Jose decided to quit working with all these other greedy companies, and Camwatch LA was born.

Now what makes us different? Well first we strive to be a company bigger than all the previous mentioned. Our main goal is to be a company known to be reliable and not just another BIG company that does the minimum. Whether its a small project or a month long project, we want all of our clients to know that they all matter to us. If theirs one thing we love, is when our clients give us a call and thank us because thier system got the job done. It almost makes us want to give out free systems just so we can recieve that call everyday. But on a more serious note, we appreciate all of our clients that continue to trust our services, it means a lot. By any means we do not intend to make every other company look bad. Because we know their are companies out there who are just as professional as Camwatch, but for those who dont you know who you are. And for those who are looking to find the “right” company for your project, we recommend you do as much research as you can before hiring any company.
